Calculus generates a short, timed arithmetic test from the settings chosen. Pick a number type, decide which operations to include, set the length and the clock, and start.

No account is needed to try it. Guests can practise up to a daily limit; registering keeps results and unlocks statistics and challenges.

What to choose before starting

• The exercise type: Integers, Fractions or Decimals.
• One operation, or a random mix of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• The number of questions, from 1 to 15.
• The time limit, in minutes and seconds.
• Keypad entry or multiple choice.

A note on generated tests

Tests are produced in real time from the selected settings. An individual generated session is not a permanent web page and is not published — the settings are what get reused, not the questions.
